These Terms of Service govern your use of this website and of the text messaging program operated for German Auto Repair, 275 Orange Ave, Unit C, Goleta, CA 93117. The messaging program is operated on German Auto Repair's behalf by Jesse Lynn, the registered sender of record. By using this website or submitting our service request form, you agree to these terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to use this website, to submit our service request form, and to consent to receive text messages from us. By submitting the form you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from, or send messages to, anyone under 18.
This website provides information about German Auto Repair and lets you request service. It is not a booking guarantee. Submitting the form starts a conversation; an appointment exists only once we have confirmed a specific date and time with you.
German Auto Repair's text messaging program is used to reply to people who submitted our own service request form and asked to be contacted by text. Messages are transactional and one to one: questions needed to quote or schedule your work, offers of appointment times, appointment confirmations, reminders and follow-ups about your request. We do not send promotional or marketing blasts through this program.
You opt in by checking the SMS consent box on the service request form on this website. The box is unchecked by default and is not required to submit the form. Consent is not a condition of purchase. We never message anyone who did not opt in on our own form, and we do not use purchased, rented or affiliate lead lists.
Message frequency varies, typically 2 to 6 messages per inquiry. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will receive one confirmation message and then no further messages. You may also call (805) 967-1551 or email [email protected] to be removed. Reply START to opt back in.

Any price discussed by phone, email or text before we have inspected your vehicle is an estimate only. Final pricing is provided in a written authorization before work begins, in accordance with California law. Payment is due on completion of the work unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
Please let us know as early as you can if you need to change or cancel an appointment so we can offer the slot to another customer. We may need to reschedule an appointment if a prior job runs long or parts are delayed; we will contact you if that happens.
You agree not to use this website or our messaging program for any unlawful purpose, not to submit anyone else's contact information without their permission, and not to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the site.
This website is provided on an "as is" basis. We do our best to keep the information on it accurate and current but make no warranty that it is error-free or uninterrupted. Nothing on this website is a diagnosis of your vehicle. To the fullest extent permitted by law, German Auto Repair and Jesse Lynn are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or the messaging program. Nothing in these terms limits any warranty that applies to repair work we actually perform.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Santa Barbara County, California.
We may update these terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date.
